Exercise Therapy
Exercise therapy involves eliciting motion of the body or its parts in order to relieve symptoms and improve function. Specific stretching, strengthening, and stabilization exercises are a critical part of the rehabilitation process for most musculoskeletal injuries. Continued exercise is an important component of injury prevention. With guidance from our therapist, you will have a personalized program created, with follow-up appointments booked to progress and ensure all needs are being met.

A few of the treatment areas covered;
- Rehabilitation
- Pre and Post Operative Exercises
- Core Stabilization
- Postpartum Health
- Osteoporosis
The use of exercise as a form of therapy for promoting psychological or physical well being. Running, cycling, and swimming are often used as psychotherapeutic tools. During rehabilitation from illness or injury, controlled exercise is often a key factor in returning a person to normal activity. Our exercise therapy covers the following:
- Rehabilitation
- Pre and Post Operative Exercises
- Core Stabilization
- Postpartum Health
- Osteoporosis
Often patients nearing the end of their treatment plan will opt for a comprehensive exercise program to ensure a complete return to pre-injury levels. Other times, an exercise program is requested by the physician for strengthening of a specific condition. Either way, a personalized exercise program can be created for you.

However for many people with chronic problems these useful and straight forward approaches can sometimes be either too aggressive or too difficult to perform without aggravating your pain. In such cases some more sophisticated, more precise and somewhat gentler exercise therapy approaches are more appropriate and allow you to develop strength where it is specifically needed.
